A sprawling multipurpose sports and recreation facility, this park has become a symbol of excellence in urban planning and development. The City of Stonnington entrusted ADCO Construction with the ambitious task of transforming this space into a hub of activity, featuring state-of-the-art sports facilities, enhanced amenities for local clubs, and improved infrastructure for park enthusiasts. Professional Plumbing Contractors stepped up to the plate, delivering their expertise in commercial roofing and cladding installation to bring this vision to life.
We are so proud of our team who won the Safety Award “Excellence in Metal Roofing 2023” for this project and was named as a finalist in two categories: wall cladding and public building for roofing and/or cladding by the Metal Roofing and Cladding Association of Australia for their installation work.

One of the standout features of Percy Treyvaud Memorial Park is its cutting-edge roofing and bespoke wall cladding, a testament to PPC’s commitment to quality and innovation. Professional Plumbing Contractors collaborated with sister companies East-West Roof Guardrail and Architectural Cladding Suppliers, ensuring the highest standards in safety and materials.
The roofing at the facility boasts Kingspan KS1000RW 100mm panels in Shale Grey, providing durability and aesthetics to the stadium. Complementing this, Stramit Speed Deck Ultra® COLORBOND® steel Matt Monument panels add a touch of sophistication to the structure.
For the wall cladding, a substrate material requiring Askin Vivid Range – Volcore 150mm wall panels served as the foundation, beautifully overlaid with 540mm x 540mm COLORBOND® steel Basalt Shingles.
What truly sets this project apart is the innovative use of the Panel Edge Pro system, employed by East-West Roof Guardrails, enhancing safety and productivity. Eliminating the need for time-consuming wire-ups or bird netting, this system allowed the PPC team to work efficiently and safely without cumbersome harnesses.
Its lightweight design facilitated easy maneuverability across the roof, providing a critical handrail barrier during installation. Not only did this system elevate safety standards, but it also delivered substantial reductions in labour and plant costs, making it a true game-changer for all parties involved.
